Responsive Neurostimulation (RNS):

The responsive neurostimulation (RNS) System is a device that continously monitors brain waves for electrical abnormalities indicative of seizures, and "responds" by generating and electrical current to the brain when it detects an abnormality. Research includes various aspects of the device including clinical, neurophysiology, and machine learning.
